I posted this over at the
B4A message board in Morgan's
Thank You thread, but I felt the need to post it here too. With some additions. :)

Dear West Wing:
Thank you for making me laugh.
Thank you for making me cry.
Thank you for making me think.
Thank you for giving me stories that delved into current day issues without beating me over the head with them. (Mostly ;))
Thank you for making me think about those issues more and for inspiring me to be a better citizen.
Thank you for giving me characters that I could believe in and support, ones that I love and admire and respect and who will always be with me.
Thank you for the guy in a hole and babies with hats. For woot canals and goldfish named Gail. For slippery shoes and philately. For red lights. For pink squirrels and the Bossanova. For asking "What's next?"
Thank you for Mrs. L, President Bartlet, Leo, Fitz, Nancy, Debbie, Charlie, and yes, even Kate.
Thank you for Will, Sam, Toby, CJ, Carol, Ginger, Bonnie, Mandy, Amy, Ed and Larry.
Thank you for Mike Casper, Matt Skinner, Cliff Calley, Bram and Otto.
Thank you for giving me Josh and Donna.
Thank you for actually giving me a pay off on Josh and Donna after I -- and so many others -- patiently waited for seven years.
Thank you for inspiring me to write.
Thank you for encouraging the voices in my head that will never be truly gone.
Thank you for BtO. (No, really. I'm serious. I learned a lot from that experience. Both good and bad.)
Thank you for introducing me to such incredible actors, ones I will always think fondly of whenever I see them in any other productions. They will always be these characters I love no matter how many other roles they play.
Thank you for AJ's laugh, RS's crinkly eyes, BW's butt (and arms, and chest, and emo eyes…), JM's ethereal beauty, JS's smile, MS's voice.
Thank you for Aaron Sorkin, Tommy Schlamme, Debbie Cahn, and Alex Graves.
Thank you for Morgan, Ryo, alto, Meg, Jecar, kate, Phil, Yana, Tori, Dia, the Tri, austin, Jo, Fil, Lady D and so many others that I can't imagine my life without. I never expected to meet so many wonderful friends. And yet I did. And all because of a tiny little show about politics that I wasn't even sure I wanted to watch.
Just… thank you. From the very depths of my heart.
(No love or thanks, however, to Morgan for making me cry so much on a beautiful Monday morning. Especially post-RST day. That was mean! ;))
