(Grr... there is no better way to start my plea. Grrr. I don't want to be one of *them*. I don't want people to look at this and say... wait a sec, why is she looking for *that* fic, but...)

I *am* looking for a fic.

I even beta'd a bit of this fic. And I swear I thought it was by emilys_list but when I mentioned it to caz963 (we were talking about ways J and D would get married and I mentioned them NOT getting married) I could not find it anyhwere.

Josh and Donna in Japan. With two kids. NOT married. And I'm pretty sure there were several stories within the whole universe. HELP!

(I vaguelly remember a thing about a permission slip for their daughter to go ice-skating. And a bit about Sam being at the hospital when she was born. Possibly part of the same fic, possibly not.)

((And if anyone has a link to a site with Emily's fic, that would be mighty nice too. :) Because I really hate it when fic sites disappear.))

Em Meredith found this cute little BSG/Pirates of the Carribean ficlet today. Only, sadly, the crossover part was the COMPASS and not the characters.

But wouldn't it be AWESOME if Jack Sparrow and Gaius Baltar were running around on Galactica together?

I'm having a bit of a day. And since Mrs. L isn't here to pat me on the back and give me a cookie, I'm gonna ask y'all for help. Specifically, fic help.

I need fic! Funny, smutty, emo, angsty fic! (Ok, maybe not all together, but any of those categories would do, either alone or in combination.)

Not old fic, which is wonderful and lovely, but well, old. I must've re-read Bramble's stuff and the bubblefics a gazillion times by now. No, I need new fic. NEW lovely, wonderful fic!

And it doesn't have to be Josh/Donna. Or even West Wing. *g*

It should, however, be something I like… ( so here's a helpful list for anyone willing to help me out with a rec. *g* )

caz963 tried to help when I was chatting with her the other day, but she came up dry on the subject too. And I really could use a wonderful new fic to make my day better.
